Bola Tinubu has two private jets: a Bombardier Global Express XRS and a Gulfstream G650.

A 2012 model of the Bombardier Global Express XRS is believed to cost between $15m-$17m, while the Gulfstream G650 costs $65m.

Both of these private jets are the same type owned by Forbes richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija, and Mike Adenuga Jnr.

Channels Television reported on August 7, 2023, that Tinubu opted to use his private jet instead of the government jet to cut costs.

This was revealed by Joe Ajaero, The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), during the broadcast of Channels Television’s Politics Today.

How Much is Tinubu’s Private Jet?

Tinubu’s private jets the Bombardier Global Express XRS and Gulfstream G650 are estimated to be worth between $78m-$85m.

The price information is according to the market price value of both jets. The Bombardier Global Express XRS has a minimum asking price of $13m and a maximum asking price of $20 million. A new Gulfstream G650 is priced at $65 million, while used aircraft can be listed starting at $39 million.
