Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State, has visited his alma mater, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Obi made this visit on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, to attend an event on ethical leadership. The event was organized by the Strategic Contacts, Ethics and Publication, (STRACEP) of the University.

According to a post made by Peter Obi on X (formerly Twitter), while speaking at the event, he laid emphasis on the need for leaders occupying government positions to possess integrity and uprightness.

He also added that the growth of a nation is built on ethical leadership and integrity, and people can not expect meaningful progress and development from political leaders with questionable and unverifiable pasts.

Speaking at the event was also Chief Ben Etiaba, the son of the first female governor in Nigeria, Dame Virgy Etiaba.

Here are pictures from the event:

Remember that Peter Obi graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1984.
