Eberechi Wike was born in Odiokwu, Ahoada West of Rivers State, into the Christian family of Dr. and Mrs. Obuzor. She graduated with an LL.B. (Hons.) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 1996.
After her graduation, she was admitted to law school, after which she was admitted to the Nigerian bar.
