The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced preparation for the upcoming governorship elections in Edo State.
The Edo Governorship Election is scheduled to be held on 21st September 2024. In preparation for the Continuous Voter Registration exercise, INEC has organised a presentation.
This presentation aims to discuss the registration procedures and key timelines for the exercise.
Mr. Tunde Gafar, the Director Voter Registry, represented by Deputy Director (VR) Mrs. Wyom Doris Kande, delivered a comprehensive overview of the CVR exercise.
Present in this event were civil society groups, traditional rulers, and religious leaders. Stakeholders confirmed their commitment to assist INEC in ensuring a smooth voter registration process.
