The Real Reason Why Portable Was Arrested

Social media has been buzzing after it was revealed that popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, best known as Portable, has been arrested by the police.

Portable was arrested for allegedly refusing to pay the balance of a G-Wagon vehicle he recently purchased from his car dealer.

The singer was arrested on Tuesday 14 May 2024 in the Abule Egba area of Lagos by the Lagos State Police Command.

It was gathered that the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner, purchased the vehicle worth N27m and paid only N13m. He has refused to pay the N14m balance according to their agreement.

According to a report by Paper Nigeria, the reason for the arrest was that whenever the car dealer contacted Portable for the remaining balance, he usually claimed that the vehicle had been bad.

Here is a photo of the undertaken of the car that the singer signed in January:

Portable also took a picture with the dealer after signing the agreement.
