The Edo State Governorship election is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the complete timetable and schedule for the election.

According to this schedule, campaigns are set to commence on April 24, 2024, and end 24 hours before the election day on September 19, 2024.
Remember, in 2020, Governor Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won the Edo State gubernatorial elections for the second time. Obaseki won the election with a total of 307,955 votes.
