The Edo State Governorship Election 2024 is scheduled for September 21, 2024. This date was revealed in the official INEC schedule for the Edo State elections.
After the conclusion of party primaries, every party now has its own candidates for the election. The governorship candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is Ighodalo Asuerinme, while history deputy is Ogie Osarodion.
The candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC) is Okpebholo Monday, while his deputy is Idahosa Dennis.

The campaigns for the Edo State elections started on April 24, 2024, and will end two days before the election on September 19.
