The former governor of Anambra state and former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has sent a message to celebrate as Christians worldwide mark Ash Wednesday, the start of the Lenten Season.
Obi made this know on his X handle (formerly Twitter), emphasizing the need for Nigerian to work together for a better future.
According to Peter Obi, this is a season of reflection on the way forward for the nation even in the midst of challenges.
He also called on everyone to show love to one another, while still affirming that a new Nigeria is POssible.
“As the Christian community around the world celebrates Ash Wednesday today, marking the beginning of the Lenten Season, a period of fasting, prayers and almsgiving, I wish all Christians in Nigeria a fruitful Lenten season.”
