Lagosians were put in a state of panic after a filling that was razed by fire in the early hours of Thursday.
According to reports, the Mobil filling station located at Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja, the Lagos state capital, exploded around 11 a.m. The incident occurred when motorists were buying Petroleum Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol.
From the picture taken, vehicles, a gas tanker, cars, and a bus were seen burnt at the filling station.
The number of individuals who sustained injuries is still undisclosed. Luckily, no casualties were recorded at the time of filing this report.
