Amnesty International Nigeria has condemned the attack on the Zikke community in Plateau State.

According to Amnesty International, the attack was said to have been carried out on Sunday, April 14, 2025. The death toll after the attack is now 54, as many victims are being discovered.
Hundreds of people have now been displaced since the attack.
Recall that over 50 people were killed in similar attacks in Bokkos LGA the previous week. Plateau State has been facing the issue of Fulani herdsmen targeting farming communities over the years.
Some of these clashes are a result of land disputes and religious differences.
