Veteran actress Elizabeth Benson-Ameye, popularly known as Liz Benson, has returned to the Nollywood industry after several years of hiatus.
The veteran actress is one of the movie stars who contributed to the growth of the movie industry over the years.
Liz is starring in “A Mother’s Son,” a movie produced by Mercy Johnson and directed by Vincent De Anointed. The movie features other stars such as Mike Godson, Mercy Johnson, Evia Simon, Ozioma Maurice, and George Inaibeh.
Mercy Johnson shared the viral video with the Nollywood veteran on her Instagram page. In the video, we can see Mercy Johnson and other Nollywood stars welcome Liz as she walks into the room.
For those who do not know, Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Benson is a 58-year-old Nigerian actress who has been in the movie industry since 1993.
Her first-ever film was Fortunes, a television soap opera that ran in 1993. Benson played the part of Mrs Agnes Johnson in the soap.
Liz Benson is known for her role in the 1994 movie Glamour Girls, which brought her to the limelight. Two years after a good start, she suddenly quit acting in 1996.
